Who can see the photos? Visible, Upload-only and Disposable Camera mode
You decide whether guests can browse each other's photos. Open your album, click Configure album, and find "Who can see the photos?" There are three options.
Visible to guests
Guests can browse photos as they arrive. This is the default and the most fun on the day. Guests love seeing what everyone else has captured, and it encourages more uploads.
Reveal later · Disposable Camera
Guests upload now, but the gallery stays hidden until a moment you choose, like waiting for a disposable camera to be developed.
- Set the date and time under Reveal photos on (shown in your local time zone). Popular choices are the morning after the wedding or when you're back from honeymoon.
- Click Reveal now to open the gallery early.
- You and your co-hosts can see everything in your account the whole time.
- Guests can keep uploading after the reveal.
Important: if Disposable Camera is selected but no reveal date is set, photos are visible. Set a date.
Only the couple can view (upload-only)
Guests can upload but can never browse the gallery. Choose this for maximum privacy. Only you and your co-hosts see the photos, and you decide what to share later.
Related privacy settings
- Password protection: guests need a password to open the album at all.
- Require names: guests enter their name before accessing the album.
- Show uploader's name: show or hide who shared each photo.
- You can also hide or delete individual photos at any time.
Settings apply per album, so your rehearsal dinner album can be open while your wedding day album is a Disposable Camera.
