Audio guestbook: collecting voice messages from your guests
The audio guestbook lets guests record a voice message for you, such as well-wishes, stories or marriage advice, straight from their phone. There's no special phone or equipment needed.
Turn it on (or off)
- Open your album and click Configure album.
- Under Guest experience, switch Audio guestbook on or off.
How guests use it
On your album page guests tap the voice message option, allow microphone access when their phone asks, record, and send. Guests are always asked for their name so you know who's speaking. Messages can be up to 10 minutes long.
Who can hear the messages?
Only you and your co-hosts. Voice messages are private. They never appear in the guest gallery or slideshow, whatever your gallery visibility is set to.
Listen to your messages
Log in and open Guest uploads → Audio guestbook. You can play each message, see who left it, and delete any you don't want to keep. Deleting is permanent.
Tips
- Add a line to your table cards or ask your MC to mention it: "Scan the code to share your photos and leave us a voice message!"
- Quieter spots work best. Suggest guests step away from the dance floor.
- If a guest can't record, they've probably blocked microphone access. They can allow it in their browser's site settings and reload the page.
