How guests upload photos and videos (a guide you can share)

Are you a wedding guest? This one's for you. Couples, feel free to forward this page.

How to share your photos

  1. Scan the QR code with your phone's normal camera and tap the link that pops up. Or tap the link the couple sent you.
  2. The album opens in your web browser. There's no app to install and no account to create.
  3. If asked, enter your name (so the couple know who to thank) and the album password, if there is one.
  4. Tap Upload, choose photos and videos from your library, or take a new one on the spot.
  5. Select as many as you like, then confirm.
  6. Keep the page open until you see Upload complete. You'll see "Preparing" and then a progress percentage.

Tips for a smooth upload

  • Select everything in one go. In your phone's photo picker you can tap multiple photos before pressing Add/Done. There's no need to add them one at a time.
  • Wi-Fi is best for videos and big batches. No signal at the venue? Upload later from home. The album stays open for months.
  • Don't lock your phone or switch apps during a large upload.
  • Photos and videos are saved in full original quality, and there's no limit on how many you share.
  • If "Preparing" takes a while on iPhone, your phone is fetching the originals from iCloud first. That's normal.

Common questions

  • Can I see other guests' photos? That's up to the couple. Some galleries are open, some are revealed later like a disposable camera, and some are private to the couple.
  • Can I download photos? If the gallery is visible, open any photo and tap download to save it.
  • Can I delete something I uploaded by mistake? Ask the couple. They can remove any photo.
  • It says the guest limit is reached. Let the couple know. They can lift it in a minute.
  • Can I leave a voice message? If the couple has switched on the audio guestbook, you'll see the option on the album page.
